- Discuss Timeline & Budget: Set realistic expectations for costs and production timelines.
- Provide Quote & Contract: Present a detailed quote, contract, and terms of service for the client’s approval.
3. Pre-Production
- Scriptwriting: Write or refine the script based on client feedback, ensuring it aligns with the storyboard.
- Create Style Frames: Develop sample visuals to represent the color scheme, character design, and visual style.
- Design Character & Environment Assets: design the characters, environments, and other assets .
- Receive Client Approval: Share the script, style frames, and designs with the client for feedback and approval.
4. Animation Production
- Storyboard to Animatic: Convert the storyboard into an animatic, a rough animation showing the timing and pacing.
- Illustrate Key Scenes: Begin illustrating each frame or major scene based on the approved storyboard.
- Animate Key Frames: For motion graphics, animate keyframes for primary movements (e.g., transitions, character actions).
- Integrate Voiceover & Audio: If a voiceover is included, add it now to sync timing and adjust visuals accordingly.
5. Detailed Animation & Effects
- Refine Animation: Add in-betweens, smooth transitions, and secondary animations to polish the visuals.
- Add Motion Graphics & Special Effects: Enhance scenes with particle effects, text animations, or kinetic typography.
- Color Grading & Fine-Tuning: Adjust colors, lighting, and ensure all scenes maintain a cohesive look.
